Hal NovickHal Novick has been in the private practice of all phases of intellectual property law starting in 1972. He is admitted to the bars of D.C. and Maryland. He has extensive experience in the electrical and mechanical arts in the preparation and prosecution of patent and trademark applications, and advising clients. He regularly handles interparte matters before the PTO, and appeals and litigation in the courts. He has been hired as an expert witness in patent related matters.

Mr. Novick has a BA degree in Physics and a master’s equivalence in Nuclear Engineering from the U.S. Navy, where he was an officer for six years and served aboard nuclear submarines. He has written and lectured widely all over the world about IP matters and is a popular speaker. In addition, he is a present adjunct professor of IP law at Roger Williams University School of Law in Rhode Island, and a past adjunct professor of IP law at Handong International Law School, an American style law school in Korea.

Mr. Novick’s experience in all facets of IP law has made him a desired consultant and advisor to businesses and other lawyers all over the world.
